2009 Christmas Concert

December 18, 2009 5:11pm Tonight is our Christmas Concert. It’s been months and nights of practice- the learning of songs and dances… the pains, the frustrations, the sadness, the joys, the delight... now has come to it’s very purpose- GOD. Tonight is the night! Lord, I pray Thee, that this night will be a night of celebration, a feast of thanksgiving, a night of praise and worship, a night of remembering YOU... why You came on earth and how You came as a humble baby in manger. As we, the praise and worship lead the mighty congregation, I ask Thee O Holy Spirit to be with us, work in us and through us, guide us as we become Your living instruments, Your living cup of vessels to bless Your people. Use us to lead Your congregation in praising, magnifying, adoring, glorifying with one voice, one heart, with one purpose- to lift up Your Holy Name Father… We humble ourselves down that you may be glorified, not us… not our voices, not our talents. But You alone be glorified in what we are about to do.
Psalm 115:1 English Standard Version (ESV) To Your Name Give Glory 115 Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!
Show us Your glory! We are Your people... We’ve come to worship You Father! Amen and amen.
