SO I WOULD WAIT...

July 02, 2011

It is God who will choose for me… so I would wait…

I believe that God “would” grant my desires, to go abroad, work, help my family, and grow with my faith..

Time will come when I would be living far away from my “comfort zone”- there would be a great deal of change. Far from home, from church, from loved ones… it will be hard. But I have prayed for this.. the testing of faith in fire, so as to see if I would turn to gold…

Easier said done.. I know.. but who says that it is easy.. but it is simple…

“Keep your faith..” testing will always come.. it is never easy… I know…

That is why I need Your grace Father, the strength to overcome, the will to will Your will.
It will be hard Lord, changes in my life will come.. but I believe, You have prepared me and preparing me for this…and so, what I have, what I have learned to be who I am today, would be the “me” that I’m going to bring.

One fear I always have.. the fear to FORGET WHO AM I…

But all these years, You have been with me… all those years of painful lessons, of tiresome journey, of life stories, of faith unwavering and wavering, of doubts and confusions… all those and these years.. You are with me.. Faithful.

Psalm 27:1
27 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
     whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold[
a] of my life;
    of whom shall I be afraid?

Romans 8:31

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be[a] against us?

I believe in Your Word, Your promises, unfailing and true. One truth and one promise that I  dearly hold:

Psalm 119:68

68  You are good and do good;

Hebrews 13:5

5 “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

So I will wait.. for You O Lord… I will wait…
