EXCELLENT WORSHIPER (d)

CHAPTER 10:   ETERNAL HOME

The house of God is not about buildings and things- it’s about people, the body of all believers, who are the church. They are heaven’s pride and joy, coming together to make His Name famous and His praise glorious.

Psalm 27:4
4 One thing have I asked of the LORD,     that will I seek after:  that I may dwell in the house of the LORD     all the days of my life,  to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD     and to inquire[a] in his temple.
As an individual believer, I am His house. He lives in me, and in Him, I have my purpose. But there is a dynamic life hat is found only within the kingdom, others the “lovers of God” come together in unity to become the church.- the glorious, unblemished, whole, beautiful bride for whom the King is returning, I believe that God is restoring praise and worship to His church ,a and at the same time, He is restoring His church, His bride. He is restoring us to be we what we were created to be- the hand and feet of Jesus. Collectively, we come together to create a structure that is made up of the powerful testimonies of His people.

The church isn’t the building, the church is the people. The house is the covering of the church. It’s the Shelter, the refuge, the sanctuary. Lots of people love the king and participate in the church, but they don’t love the house of the Lord, the corporate gatherings of the local church, will mist like disappoint the testimony of God’s glory because hypocrisy is easy to find in the house of God. People become weary of investing their lives in service to their local church.  But we should leave to trust in God and not men.

Psalm 20:7

7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,     but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

God will never let you down. Don’t fear the “what ifs” of serving in the church., the things you may have to die to. Start to dream about the “what could be’s”. if you actually sowed your life into something bigger than yourself, you can have a revelation of the power of the house of God. you can have the revelation of the church.

Keys To Being Effective And Fulfilled While Serving In The Great House Of God:

  1. 1.    Remember there is room for everyone

John 10:10
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Church is about commitment and dedication you bring to the family of God. When the house of the Lord is operating as it should- it is  flourishing, growing, successful, far-reaching, and influential, embracing ad challenging.

In God’s house, there is room for every one of us to find a place to serve, to flourish, and to grow in Him. in the house of God, we will live life in all its; fullness.

Psalm 52:8

8 But I am like a green olive tree     in the house of God.  I trust in the steadfast love of God     forever and ever.
Christians should not just move forward, but deeply planted in the house of God and begin to flourish.

  1. 2.    You can’t build on a foundation of doubt, fear or unbelief

You either trust God with your life or you don’t! he puts people in authority over you, and it’s your role to honor and serve without grumbling pr feeling like are missing out. No man can interfere with God’s divine appointment and His divine timing for you- only you can do that.

Luke 16:10

10 “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.
When you are working through the principle of being “faithful in little” you need to love the “little” part. Don’t just bear the small beginnings as “marking time”. Serving the Lord’s house is a heart decision.

Nehemiah 10:39
39 For the people of Israel and the sons of Levi shall bring the contribution of grain, wine, and oil to the chambers, where the vessels of the sanctuary are, as well as the priests who minister, and the gatekeepers and the singers. We will not neglect the house of our God.”

we are to treasure it, prize it and give our lives away for it, serving the house of the Lord is not  a journey of fear, it is a journey using your faith to serve others.

  1. 3.    Don’t fight the silent years

Jesus was faithful to serve and to do his silent years of training well.

Luke 2:51-52

51 And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them. And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart.
52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature[a] and in favor with God and man.
Jesus didn’t have a worldwide ministry. he fetches water and did whatever His parents asked Him to do. He was FAITHFUL in the everyday things.

Fighting for your time, your place, your voice, or your importance will always hinder  your effectiveness in the great house of God. If you are faithful with what belongs to somebody else, God will give you your own,. The testing ground is whom you are being LOYAL STEWARD over what belongs to someone else. These are the silent years, the needful, precious, unseen years.

The silent years brings depth if devotion that cannot be found in “quick fixes”. Silent years that are done well build a foundation of TRUST between yourself and the Lord that is not easily shaken.

Worship is precious to God’s own heart, and it is no wonder that He works on our inner man continually as we worship Him, because He wants to trust us with so much. The unseen years of our lives are those years where God’s hand steadfastly connected and prepared us for the future, God is the ultimate Father. In the great house of God, remembers, there is a time when all things will come together for His Purpose., but there is also a way of obedience that brings it about!

1 Peter 5:5-7
5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, 7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
  1. 4.    Greatness begin with wholeheartedness

In 2 Chronicles, Solomon often refers to the whole hearted devotion of King David and the men and women of GOD WHO SERVED IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD. A wholehearted approach to service releases God’s hand. The Scripture here talks about King Amaziah and his reign. The 1st half of the record if Amaziah’s life is about is victory and his obedience to GOD. And the 2nd half is about his defeat and his disobedience,

2 Chronicles 25:2
2 And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, yet not with a whole heart.

In the middle of the book it speaks of AMAZIAH. He was doing the right thing (he served well) but his approach was not wholeheartedly. King Amaziah's heart hardened and he started to walk in disobedience.

God’s hand is limited when your heart is misdirected, anything you hope to do all need to be approached wholeheartedly. If you want to live as an excellent worshiper In His guise, you must approach Him with your whole heart- there is no other way,

  1. 5.    Ask God to teach you to love His house

Nothing it too hard when you are in love. Ask God to increase your ability to love what he loves  and to love establishing His kingdom through building His great house.

Acts 20:28
28 Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God,[a] which he obtained with his own blood.[b]

He bought the church with His own blood. God’s house matters.

Why are we passionate for the church?

  • ·         We love God’s presence

God’s house is the place where He lives and loves to be adored.
  • ·         We love the sense of family

God’s love gives us a sense of belonging. The church is not a  club that excludes abide because he/she did not come from the right background.
  • ·         It is the greatest learning ground in life.

being planted in God’s house will develop leadership skills.
  • ·         We love being bale to give

We love to give into something that build and restores lives including our own, to    live giving finances into the house of God because I know I am sowing into  a  great     soil
  • ·         It’s a place where children flourish

To thrive in the environment of a healthy house
  • ·         We love sharing our lives

The house of God is a place where w e can share our lives, our dreams and our    future
  • ·         We love seeing our gifts receive and polished

The house of God id sa healthy ground to release our talents and gifts, where        they will be challenges and honed.
  • ·         We love our friends in God’s  house

Friendship has been borne and developed  the house of God that continually         overwhelms us.

Think about the house of God in which you are planted and consider what you can offer to the Lord’s banquet table. Your gifts and talents will help make that house a place that honors the Lord on this earth today, you can do it by KNOWING GOD, and by PURSUING UNITY  with the body of believers who share the house of God. You can SERVE GOD AND HIS HOUSE BY LOVING, DISCIPLINE AND EXCELLENCE AND BY OBEDIENTLY BRINGING YOUR GIFT TO TABLE BECAUSE OF WHO GOD IS.

God’s house is radiant and His glory will be seen throughout the earth as thousands upon thousands of extravagant worshipers, worshiping in spirit and in truth and lifting a mighty roar of praise and continue to run to the ever-open arms of Jesus.

I earnestly pray that you will live for HIS LOVE, and HIS PURPOSE be UNQUENCHABLE. Live extravagantly for Him so that the lost may know Him and so the world will be drawn to the irresistible presence of the King. The Father longs for His people to be extravagant worshipers. God has out us together on earth for this time and trusted us for this season of praise, so let’s do it well.
