Fireproof

JUNE 15, 2009

10:10 PM

“Never ever leave your partner—especially in a fire.”

“You can’t just follow your heart. Your heart can be deceived. You have to lead your heart.”

“When most people promise ‘for better or for worse,’ they only mean for the better.”

“Fireproof doesn’t mean that a fire will never come, but that when it comes, you’ll be able to withstand it.”

“A woman’s like a rose. If you treat her right, she’ll bloom. If you don’t, she’ll wilt.”

WHILE I'M WAITING

John Waller

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience
While I'm waiting
I will serve You
While I'm waiting
I will worship
While I'm waiting
I will not faint
I'll be running the race
Even while I wait

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve you while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting on You, Lord

LOVE IS NOT A FIGHT

Warren Barfield

Love is not a place
To come and go as we please
It's a house we enter in
And then commit to never leave
So lock the door behind you
Throw away the key
We'll work it out together
Let it bring us to our knees

Love is a shelter in a raging storm
Love is peace in the middle of a war
If we try to leave may God send angels to guard the door
No, love is not a fight but it's something worth fighting for

To some, love is a word that they can fall into
But when they're falling out
Keeping that word is hard to do

Love is a shelter in a raging storm
Love is peace in the middle of a war
If we try to leave may God send angels to guard the door
No, love is not a fight but it's something worth fighting for

Love will come to save us, if we'll only call
He will ask nothing from us, but demand we give our all

Love is a shelter in a raging storm
Love is peace in the middle of a war
If we try to leave may God send angels to guard the door
No, love is not a fight but it's something worth fighting for

I would fight for you, would you fight for me?
It's worth fighting for.

1. Married people who are predominantly focused on their own feelings and their own needs are not likely to succeed. Marriage takes a lot of work, and a predominantly selfless attitude.

2. In order for marriage to work, both partners have to be willing to admit that they are flawed human being, so that they make mistakes, sometimes selfish and hurtful, and sometimes  have to ask humbly to be forgiven

3. There will be conflicts and hard times during marriage, and when this happen both partners must be committed to making it work and ensure the survival of their marriage, even when this seems like a lot of work and doesn’t seem to be rewarded or even recognized.

4. For a marriage to really work, both partners will have to continually grown and improve themselves, often in ways that are not comfortable and entail sacrifices…

The movie was really heartwarming, it brought tears on my eyes, knowing that GOD HAS THE FULL DETAILS IN YOUR LIFE. He is at work, even in the tiniest detail of your life…it gave delight in my heart..

I will wait for You Lord

Even if it means getting hurt and be in pain

I will be hopeful…

When God Says NO

JUNE 02, 2009
9:20 PM

“The Lord is sovereign. If it doesn’t work out with a particular guy because He didn’t step up, the Lord will cause something else to work out. He knows what is best for each of us, and all of us must learn to trust Him- especially about things that are really important to us.”
-       Scott Craft

Silence.. no communications…

God says NO…

Only You knows what is best for us…

my heart Will continue to TRUST in YOU…

In the Valley

MAY 28, 2009

9:32 PM

Oh Lord our God, how majestic is Your Name
Above the earth, and You have set Your glory
Upon Your people, upon Your nation

In this dry land Father, You will quench
Our thirst, You will satisfy

All of our longings

In this valley of death, You will give Your light
And shine upon us that we may walk again

In Your Word and Truth

In the shadow of Your wings, we are comforted

We will be healed
Our brokenness be renewed.

And we will soar again on wings
Like eagles, soaring high above

All our fear, pains, grieves and sorrows

Trusting, hoping, praying

We will rejoice in the Lord , For He has done great things in the life of Papang.
I am forever humbled and amazed on how Pang chose a simple life to worship, to serve You Lord.

We will rejoice with him and we will follow his footsteps- in serving, in loving
Your church, Your people, Your family…

We will not forget the life of papang

He is and forever will be in our hearts, in our thoughts

It’ll be hard to face tomorrow, knowing that pang is not with us physically

His authority, his wisdom, his love, his patience, his passions, is sacrifices, his laughter, his ministry, his all in all…

But Lord, teach us to obey
Teach us to be joyful

Teach us to look with hope
To trust in Your love

That never leave us

You are our strong refuge
Our fortress

Our very present help in time of need

Be glorified Father
Be exalted above the heavens

Praise the Lord!

HERE I AM LORD

I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard My people cry.

All who dwell in dark and sin,

My hand will save.

I who made
 the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright.

Who will
 bear My light to them?
Whom shall I send?

Here I am Lord, Is it I Lord?

I have heard You calling in the night.

I will go Lord, if You
 lead me.
I will
hold Your people in my heart.

I, the Lord of snow and rain,

I have born my peoples pain.

I have wept for love of them, They turn away.

I will break their hearts of stone,

Give them hearts for love alone.

I will speak My word to them,

Whom shall I send?

Here I am Lord, Is it I Lord?

I have heard You calling in the night.

I will go Lord, if You
 lead me.
I will
hold Your people in my heart.

I, the Lord of
 wind and flame,
I will tend the poor and lame.

I will set a feast for them,

My hand will save

Finest bread I will provide,

Till their hearts be satisfied.

I will give
 My life to them,
Whom shall I send?

Here I am Lord, Is it I Lord?

I have heard You calling in the night.

I will go Lord, if You
 lead me.
I will
hold Your people in my heart.

Above All

MAY 24, 2009

12:00AM

Psalm 138:2

English Standard Version (ESV)

2 I bow down toward your holy temple
and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness,
for you have exalted above all things
   your name and your word.[
a]

Jesus should be exalted above anything that I’m facing right now- above any heartaches, above brokenness, above grief and sorrow, above anything that tries to exalt itself higher than the Name of Jesus.

Lord, to stand and lead tomorrow, to worship would be the hardest thing to do right now, right now where I could not go joyfully into Your presence, right now where I should offer You everything, including my brokenness, my sorrow, my silence…

To stand their tomorrow, to pour out my heart, to give thanks to Your awesome goodness, mercy and grace, and unfailing love.. my heart is in great sorrow Lord, it will be hard…

But I will still be praising You, knowing that You’ll heal our brokenness, knowing that You would turn our mourning into dancing again.. knowing that You know what we are facing right now, and that You understand. Knowing that You are still good, even though the circumstances tells us You’re not.. knowing that You fulfills Your promise ‘TO NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US’. knowing that You are still our God, our mighty God who is worthy to be praise!

It’ll be hard Lord, but I will obey and offer You my sacrifice of praise, of thanksgiving…

Still Lord, here I am.. use all that I am…

"WITH YOU IN YOUR DREAMS"
HANSON

If I'm gone when you wake up
Please don't cry

And if I'm gone when you wake up
It's not goodbye
Don't look back at this time as a time
Of heartbreak and distress
Remember me, remember me
'Cause I'll be with you in your dreams
Oh I'll be with you, oh oh

But If I'm gone when you wake up
Please don't cry
And if I'm gone when you wake up
Don't ask why
Don't look back at this time
As a time of heartbreak and distress
Remember me, remember me
'Cause I'll be with you in your dreams

Oh oh

Don't cry, I'm with you
Don't cry, I'm by your side
Don't cry, I'm with you
Don't cry, I'm by your side

And though my flesh is gone, whoa
I'll still be with you at all times
And although my body's gone, oh
I'll be there to comfort you at all times

Oh oh

But If I'm gone when you wake up
Please don't cry
And if I'm gone when you wake up
Don't ask why
Don't look back at this time
As a time of heartbreak and distress
Remember me, remember me
'Cause I'll be with you
I'll be with you in your dreams

Oh, I'll be with you
Oh
I'll be with you in your dreams
I'll be with you
I'll be with you

I don't want you to cry and weep, oh
I want you to go on living your life
I'm not sleeping an endless sleep, oh
'Cause in your heart
You have all of our good times

Oh, all of our good times
Oh oh you have

And if I'm gone when you wake up
Don't ask why
Don't look back at this time
As a time of heartbreak and distress
Remember me, remember me
'Cause I'll be with you in your dreams

Oh
I'll be with you in your dreams
I'll be with you
Oh
I'll be with you
I'll be with you in your dreams
I'll be with you in your dreams...

Our good Lord took my Papang in his loving arms, in his eternal home, where there is no more suffering, no pain, no tears and agony… in my Father’s house, papang is home…

We are in grief, in mourning… knowing that we will no longer be with him.. but the truth that sinks into our heart- PAPANG IS WITH OUR BEAUTIFUL LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST.

He is now home, with You for eternally…

Papang is now with You, we are grateful, we are at peace

He will turn our mourning into

Dancing again

In the face of trials

We will be comforted

In the midst of grief

We can find solace

In times of cries

We will have joy

In moments of sorrows

There He is, with us

Our joy, our comfort

Our peace, our hope

Our faith, our all

In all

When the world refuse to fall

And the mountain seems so high

Lord I will still be praising You

You are good Father

And greatly to be praise

GREAT IS YOUR FAITHFULNESS…

Lifter of my Heart

MAY 13, 2009

10:52 AM

"LIFTER OF MY HEART"
STARFIELD

There's a cry in my heart
For Your glory to fall
For Your presence to fill up my senses
There's a yearning again
A thirst for discipline
A hunger for things that are deeper

Could You take me beyond?
Could You carry me through?
If I open my heart?
Could I go there with You?
(For I've been here before
But I know there's still more
Oh, Lord, I need to know You)

For what do I have

If I don't have You, Jesus?
What in this life

Could mean any more?
You are my rock
You are my glory
You are the lifter

Of my head
Lifter of this head

The sorrow of a soul

MAY 04, 2009

8:30 AM
The great mysterious work of the Holy Spirit is in the deep recesses of our being which we cannot reach. - OSWALD CHAMBERS (My Utmost For His Highest)

Psalm 139

English Standard Version (ESV)

Search Me, O God, and Know My Heart

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

1 O LORD, you have searched me and known me!
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.

7 Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
9 If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.

 13 For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.[
a]
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.

17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
I awake, and I am still with you.

19 Oh that you would slay the wicked, O God!
O men of blood, depart from me!
20 They speak against you with malicious intent;
your enemies take your name in vain.[
b]
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD?
And do I not loathe those who rise up against you?
22 I hate them with complete hatred;
   I count them my enemies.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts![
c]
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting![
d]

The psalmist implies-

“O Lord, You are the God of the early mornings, the God of the late nights, the God of the mountain peaks, and the God of the sea. But, my God, my soul has horizons further away than those of early mornings, deeper darkness than the nights of earth, higher peaks than any mountain peaks, greater depths than any sea in nature. You who are the God of all these, be my God. I cannot reach to the heights or to the depths; there are motives I cannot discover, dreams I cannot realize. My God, search me.”

“I am deeply bothered Lord, my soul is in sorrow…

Lord I cannot fathom the aches of Papang, and I cannot carry to see him in this state..

Lord if you are going to take my papang, then lay him at Your shoulder with peace and serenity. Please do not inflict another pain on him Lord… have mercy.

He has experienced many trials and hardships in his long life, he deserves Your peace Father… be with Abba.. and never let him go away from Your loving arms…”

God's Will

APRIL 26, 2009

5:30 PM

“Biblical dating isn’t about “finding” the right person, it’s “being” the right person to serve your future spouse’s needs and be a God glorifying husband or wife.”

“Authentic love is not a feeling but a permanent commitment of the will to do the true good of the other person. In a romantic context, therefore, the words “I LOVE YOU” mean “I HAVE RESOLVED TO GIVE THE REST OF MY LIFE TO YOU ALONE”.

They are properly used only as a preamble to proposing with marriage to follow shortly and to speak them when no such intention has been formed it to be use a woman’s heart as your plaything.”

-       PROFESSOR THEOPHILUS

Let me say from my heart that I TRUST YOU, though I don’t know what will be or is Your will for the both of us... still Lord, I will trust…

If letting him grow means letting him go, then I would gladly obey. If finding his first love with You would mean finding it all by himself, then please, let him seek you...

It is my desire to follow You and obey You Lord, though I may not understand everything Lord…

I need a man who will “lead” me into knowing more of You, into loving You more and more, whom I would gladly “submit” to his leadership in my life. I need a man who will love me as his number 2, because he loves You more than me. And everything else will follow- passionate, worshiper, servant, joyful, strong, courageous…

If he can’t “be” this man that I long for in a biblical relationship, then it’s time to move on and hope for someone to come along…

But if he can “be” the right man, then I am just waiting, just waiting…

Grow in the knowledge of Christ love

Grow and make him your number 1

Grow and love Him like you have found Him before

Rekindle your heart, let it burn for Him

Serve Him with all that you are

Delight in Him and He will give you

                                                          The desires of Your heart…

If God has plans for the both of us, then it will surely come, it will not tarry. Let us wait for the Lord…

If God has plans for the both of us, we will surely belong with each other…

WILL YOU?

APRIL 21, 2009
9:15 PM
WILL YOU?

Will you be strong to take me as I am, the whole I am?

Will you be courageous to take the risk of failure?

Of hurt, or of struggles?

Will you be hopeful for the things unknown?

And trust for the God who knows?

Will you be prayerful for what the Lord,

wills for you and me?

Will you be trusting to the God,

whom we serve and be totally surrendered?

Will you take the leadership in knowing Him more?

Of our Master and bringing me closer to Him?

Will you take the lead if God allows our relationship?

Will you be joyful for everyday

That He alone has made?

Will you be passionate in serving Christ and His people?

Will you be so bold in declaring Your love to God?

Will you say I will he here for always

And cherish you for eternity?

Will you stay and would never leave?
