HOW HE LOVES US

December 19, 2011
HOW HE LOVES US
Kim Walker

(Verse 1)
He is jealous for me
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy
When all of a sudden
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory
And I realize just how beautiful You are
And how great Your affections are for me

(Pre-Chorus)
And O how He loves us
Oh, O how He loves us
How He loves us all

(Chorus)
Yeah He loves us
O how He loves us
O how He loves us
O how He loves

(Verse 2)
We are His portion and He is our prize
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes
If grace is an ocean, we're all sinking
So Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest
I don't have time to maintain these regrets
When I think about the way

His presence, His love, is so thick and tangible in this room tonight~ and there are some of you who have not encountered the love of God. And tonight, God wants to encounter You, and wants you to feel His love, His amazing love. Without it, these are just songs, these are just words, these are just instruments. Without the love of God, we’re just up here making noise! But the love of God changes us, and we’re never the same until we encounter the love of God. And right now, if you would have encountered the love of God, and YOu would know because you would never be the same, you would never be the same again! And If you wanna encounter the love of God, right now, You better have to brace yourself, because He is about to blow in this  place! And so we are going to encounter the love of GOD.
So, God, I speak to all the hearts al I ask God that every heart be open right now, every spirit be open up to You God... and a love encounter from You tonight…

MY NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER

03 November 2016

MY NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER

Dear Lord
          I'm gettin' old
          But I would still behold
and laugh at silly things untold

32 this very day
Oh how you always made a way
For me to see Your grace
          With Your beauty I'm amazed

As my life is running
You have me count my blessings
& I'm pretty sure from day one to now
I would fall on my knees and bow

Oh Lord
          How my life is fleeting
          My days as an handbreadth
& mine age is nothing before You

So as the psalmist, I also pray
"Lord make me to know my end
& the measure of my days
that I may know how frail I am"

Father, You have sought me
          All because You love me
So in return, what can I give?
Oh my life, my life is Yours alone

I know I'm getting old
My hairs turning grey, my beauty is slowly fading
But to know that I am Yours and You are mine
My God, that truth is more than enough

So with this grateful silly heart
I pray that my life song sings and praise You with might
          For yes I am 32
& I am eternally loved by You.

CHRIST-CENTERED LIFE

Thank You Father for reminding us once more- through the life of guru, Pastor Bernard Rosario that CHRISTmas is all about YOU. How You dealt sin, how You- the LIGHT, the LIFE, the CREATOR and the WORD, came to save us tremendously to our sins!
Thank You Father for loving us.. Incomprehensibly!!
Oh, how great is Your love!
You are our God. Our mighty God who is MIGHTY TO SAVE!
May our hearts beat only for You..
In everything that we do, WE DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
Thank You Lord for the life of guru- may You greatly use him.. People need men!
We need to see JESUS in MEN!

John 1:1-5
English Standard Version (ESV)
The Word Became Flesh
1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life,[a] and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Dangerous Duty of Delight

December 18, 2011
11:50 pm
(Christmas Concert 2011)

“Praise not merely expresses but completes the enjoyment

Worship is not added to jot, and joy is not the by-product of worship. Worship is the VALUING OF GOD. And when this valuing is intense, it is joy in God.
Therefore, the essence of worship is delight in God, which displays His all-satisfying value.”
-       JOHN PIPER (The Dangerous Duty of Delight)
All glory, all honor
Is only due to Your Holy Name!

You are worthy of all praise!
My heart will sing
How great is our God!

Thank You Lord!
I am in awe of Your
Great love to us

HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD
Chris Tomlin

The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice

He wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end

The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb

Name above all names
Worthy of our praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

ADVICE TO SINGLES

November 28, 2011
9:30pm

Psalm 31:14-15
English Standard Version (ESV)
14 But I trust in you, O Lord;
I say, “You are my God.”
15 My times are in your hand;

My advice to singles who want to marry is: hang on. Don’t despair of God’s resources, so infinitely greater than ours. Don’t limit His capacity to bring a mate out of nowhere, when the pool of candidates seems small and hopeless. Don’t chafe at Scriptures stress in waiting to know God’s will in the matter. He has a will for You, whether you follow it or not. When you get ahead of God and try to force things, the consequences are often tragic. The statistics tell the tale, so do he personnel cases we all hear of misfired romance and wretched marriages.-       TOM GRIFFIN (from Elisabeth Elliot’s QUEST FOR LOVE)

LOOK FOR CHRIST

November 24, 2011
12:07 pm

The principle runs through all life from top to bottom. Give up your self, and you will find your real self. Lose your life and you will save it. Submit to death, death of your ambitions and favourite wishes every day and death of your whole body in the end: submit with every fiber of your being, and you will find eternal life. Keep back nothing. Nothing that you have not given away will ever be really yours. Nothing in you that has not died will ever be raised from the dead. Look for yourself, and you will find in the long run only hatred, loneliness, despair, rage, ruin, and decay. But look for Christ and you will find Him, and with Him everything else thrown in. - C.S. LEWIS

PURITY

November 24, 2011
10:01 pm
Tonight was a night of sadness Lord. The thought and knowing of the sanctity and purity of marriage is very rare nowadays and to see that “everybody” can be “satisfied” sexually in always everywhere at every one gives an overwhelming sorrow, most to the fact of knowing that your “friends’ somehow gave it “away”.

Chastity nowadays is a “blur” to those who are “in” for the sin. Even the “suppose Christians” does it.

I am hoping that there is still a “man” who has the courage to pay the prize of “commitment”, who would also “treasure” the “purity” within him, who would greatly value “chastity” and will patiently for the “approved” time- that is MARRIAGE.

Lord, as I wait for my true love, it may be possible that the one that I would love already gave it away, but turned away from sin, and humbly repented his sins and You washed and forgiven him... then if you would give me that man, then I would thankfully and praise You still and receive with wide open arms of your “gift” to me.

I am waiting patiently for that “man” whom I’m praying and hoping for. I pray that he is a man of courage not brevity, a man who could commit, who would be faithful and true, who has high standards, but knows how to keep it low, a man who knows to laugh, who can see life in a joyful and thankful way, who prays and sings, and dance for joy, even when is not. I pray that he is man who honors marriage and believes in marriage... I pray that he would love to see me grow in my faith and help me in my faith... I pray that he would be my protector, encourager, a lover and a friend.

Above everything else, I pray to see You in him…

Whoever he might be Father, as I wait on him and believes that You’ve created someone for me and me for him, may You grant us the desire to “wait patiently” upon You Lord.
This world is imperfect, and the one that You would give me is a mere imperfect, sinful man, just as I am. But by Your grace- You will make us whole and perfect according to Your riches and glory, according to Your unending mercy and unending love..

Guide us O Lord, to walk in the light and path of righteousness... we abide in You Father, we need You...

Be with us all now ad forevermore...

Amen.

We learn, on the one hand, that we cannot trust ourselves even in our best moments, and, on the other, that we need not despair even in our worst, for our failures are forgiven. The only fatal thing is to sit down content with anything less than perfection."  C.S. Lewis - Mere Christianity
